Refund Eligibility and Terms

At Jerni Tech Cab Private Limited, we strive to provide the best ride-sharing experience for our passengers. We understand that plans can change, and you may need to cancel your ride. Our refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent, ensuring clarity on how refunds are processed.

  • If you cancel your seat 24 hours or more before the scheduled departure time, you are eligible for a full refund
  • No cancellation fees will be applied.
  • If you cancel your seat between 12 hours and 24 hours before the scheduled departure time, 15% of the total fare will be deducted as a cancellation fee.
  • You will receive 85% of the total fare as a refund.
  • Identification: Check the driver and vehicle details in the app to ensure you get into the correct car.
  • If you cancel your seat between 6 hours and 12 hours before the scheduled departure time, 20% of the total fare will be deducted as a cancellation fee.
  • You will receive 80% of the total fare as a refund.
  • Cancellations made within 6 hours of the scheduled departure time are not eligible for a refund.
  • The boarding chart is prepared exactly 5 hours and 59 minutes prior to departure, after which no refund requests will be entertained.
  • Via Jerni App:
    • Open the Jerni app and go to 'My Bookings'.
    • Select the ride you wish to cancel.
    • Follow the prompts to cancel the booking.
    • The applicable refund will be processed as per the above terms.
  • Via Customer Support:
    • Contact Jerni customer support through the app, email, or hotline.
    • Provide your booking details and reason for cancellation.
    • The support team will assist you with the cancellation and process the refund as per the policy.
  • Refund Timeline:
    • Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days from the date of cancellation.
    • The refunded amount will be credited to the original payment method used for booking.
  • Notification:
    • You will receive a notification via email or SMS once the refund has been processed.
  • Partial Cancellations:
    • If your booking includes multiple seats, and you cancel one or more seats, the cancellation fee will be applied to the cancelled seats only.
  • Force Majeure:
    • In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, strikes, or other situations beyond our control, Jerni Tech Cab Private Limited reserves the right to modify or waive the cancellation fees.
  • Disputes:
    • Any disputes or issues regarding refunds should be reported to Jerni customer support within 14 days of the cancellation date.
